A literary fairy—presumably middle management in the literary busines—enters the home of a writer named Wolfgang Hegewald and without authorization wants to force him to answer a suggestive question: whether he wants to read or write in the future. Only one thing is possible. In his distress, the writer knocks the fairy unconscious and puts her in a stable lateral position in front of his desk. Now he doesn't have to answer, but the fairy recovers quickly—and stays. This constellation of characters, with their twists and surprises, their situational comedy, their transformations and unpredictable experiences, creates a dramaturgical structure that links a series of short texts.
