minimals
Description
minimals
While composing a poem, there are of course phases when you like to try to test the limits and go beyond the boundaries. Then it becomes a game, a game where you are playing with thoughts, with language, with shapes, with self-indulgence. A rest period, maybe before something new! In no time at all, profoundly condensed epigrammatic texts take shape (bypasses), word formations suddenly seem graphic (graphics), minimalistic verses (minimals) beg to be written again. Or you let a Heiko loose in the world, so that it can contribute verse to it like any other in this world. But with Heikos there are always 17 syllables, which is the only thing it adopted from the Japanese! A potpourri of such texts comes together in this small volume, accompanied by drawings from the wonderful world of Wolfgang Nieblich.
