Trudy Jeremias has been the host of the Stammtisch (regulars' table) of German-speaking Jewish emigrants in New York since 2016. In 1938, she left her hometown of Vienna with her family and fled to the USA via detours. With great vividness, one of the last Jewish emigrants from Vienna tells of life in Austria during the Nazi era, of arriving in the "New World," of what gave her support and what she still misses. This book was published on Trudy's 95th birthday.
