Mayra A. F. Monroy de Schäfer
Born and raised in Guatemala, lived temporarily in Beijing and Hongkong. She studied Chines History and Chinese Art History at the University of Hong Kong and completed her studies of Political Science, Sinology and History with the degree Magistra Artium at the University of Bonn in 1997.
