Johannes Balve
Johannes Balve, born and raised in Düsseldorf on the Rhine, studied philosophy and literature, taught and researched at universities in Italy, France, the USA and China, most recently as a professor in Japan. 2011 Evacuation to Germany, return to Japan, illness, new start in Berlin. He works as a freelance author and scientific consultant. Readings from his Japan novel, from his stories, children's stories, collections of poems in smaller or larger literary circles, at exhibition events and conferences.
