Berndt Wilde

Berndt Wilde was born in Dessau, 1965-1970 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Dresden, 1970 - 1971 aspirant at the Academy of Fine Arts Dresden, 1975 competition Heinrich-Schütz-Memorial for Dresden, first set up in 1985, 1980 - 1983 master student scholarship at the Academy of Arts Berlin with Werner Stötzer, 1985 Heinrich-Schütz-Memorial for Bad Köstritz, 1989 sculpture "Hope" in the context of the Peace Monument Leonberg, initiated by Hans Sailer, 1991 - 1992 teaching position for sculpture at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, 1992 -1993 teaching position for drawing at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, 1992 - 1993 realization of the Musenstein for Karl-Friedrich Schinkel, Neuhardenberg, 1993 -2011 professorship for sculpture at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, works in museums and collections, lives and works in Berlin.
