These literary miniatures refer to people, places, buildings, monuments, documents, sculptures etc. from today's Kaliningrad and former Königsberg.

They show how both cities are inseparably connected with each other, even though one of them ceased to exist officially 75 years ago. The featured short stories manage to link history and present. Yet they do not focus solely on monuments and memorials, but do leave room for bustling markets, fishermen and stray cats. While several texts are illustrated with photos, one literary miniature is accompanied by the specially customized drawing of a Russian artist.
