A look back into an analogue, decelerated world

The series of images from Italy at the time gives the impression of being beamed back in time to the 1980s - a time without smartphones and the internet, a time when there were no e-scooters on the streets, coffee house chains or fast food restaurants. The vibrant life mainly took place outside - an open-air theatre on the piazzas and in the cafés: the street as a 'stage of life'.
