An Eastern-European man flees from bizarre Romania and experiences Germany as a Ship of Fools: a country with doctors who need treatment, neighbours one only meets in chat rooms, huge numbers of gifted children, and mothers still wanting to feed their offspring, who have long since joined generation 50+. But in addition to people like you and me there are also Charles Bronson, Frankenstein's monster, Woody Allen and, again and again, Charlie Chaplin, because life is a absurdly mad 3D movie.
