Signe Ibbeken
Signe Ibbeken, born 1966 in Berlin, initially worked as an actress at various urban theatres, then became a freelance acting coach and writer. She was co-founder of “Literarische Lesebühne Carmer 1” in Buchhändlerkeller Berlin, as well as TheaterZoneNeukölln, political street theatre after Augusto Boal. She wrote and produced theatre plays with young migrants and taught Creative Writing. Currently, she works with autistic children and young adults in various theatre and film projects. Signe Ibbeken publishes poetry and short prose in literary magazines as well as anthologies. For her short stories she has received several awards.
