Nicole Nau
Nicole Nau was born in Düsseldorf, studied graphic design and trained as a dancer in Argentina. This was followed by engagements in Canada and Argentina, including at the Teatro Colón opera house in Buenos Aires. Nicole Nau has been dancing with her husband Luis Pereyra since 2001. The couple run their own company and train dancers in Argentinean tango and folklore. In 2006, they took over the artistic direction of the Café de los Angelitos and Viejo Almacén. Their own production VIDA! was celebrated with standing ovations at the Folies Bergére Paris, World Forum Den Haag, Admiralspalast Berlin, KKL Luzern, Teatro Astral Buenos Aires, etc. The Argentinian post office dedicated two stamps to her. Her book Tanze Tango mit dem Leben was published by Bastei Lübbe in 2013.
