Jennifer Kwon Dobbs
Jennifer Kwon Dobbs was born Heo Lee Sujin in Wonju-si, South Korea and was adopted to Oklahoma. She received a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from the University of Pittsburgh and a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Southern California. Interrogation Room is her second volume of poetry, having already published Paper Pavillion (White Pine Press) in 2007. The chapbook Necro Citizens/Nekrobürger was published by hochroth Bielefeld in 2019 in an English and a German edition. Her poems have been translated into Bulgarian, German, Greek, Korean and Turkish. She is Professor of English at St. Olaf College, where she teaches creative writing and Asian American studies.
