Alexandra Lavizzari

Alexandra Lavizzari, born in Basel in 1953. There she studied ethnology, followed by a two-year internship at the Rietberg Museum, Zurich. She lived in Nepal, Pakistan and Thailand from 1980-2000 and, after a longer stay in Italy, is now more or less based in southwest England, where she works as a painter as well as a writer. Her first literary work, the novel “Ein Sommer”, was published by a Swiss publishing house in 1999. This was followed by novels and short stories, and since 2006 she has also regularly published biographical essays about female artists and writers with the Berlin-based ebersbach & simon publishing house. “Was Alina sah” is her first novel published by PalmArtPress.
